​Dr. Yael Halevi-Wise

Yael Halevi-Wise is Associate Professor in English and Jewish Studies at McGill University. She is interested in theory and history of the novel, with special affinity for Charles Dickens in 19th Century England and A.B. Yehoshua in contemporary Israel. Her last edited volume traced the role of Spanish Jewish history in the modern literary imagination (Stanford, 2013). Her current book project focuses on the opus and ethos of A. B. Yehoshua (Penn State UP, forthcoming).
