9:00-11:30: Take Ten
Discovering graduate research through 10-minute presentations
At the Take Ten, graduate students of English literature at Université Laval each take ten minutes to present their research to our academic community. Master's and PhD students are invited to speak about academic work including essays (MA with essay), theses (MA with thesis), dissertations (PhD), essay praxis projects (MA with essay), or conference papers. Comments and questions are welcome!
This event is a good opportunity for undergraduate students to become acquainted with work produced at the graduate levels and to discover a vast range of subjects studied through the lens of literature.

Exploring different professional paths
open to students of English Literature
This second edition of Career Day is a smaller event featuring a panel of speakers with an academic background in literature. Each guest speaker will speak about their professional life and career. The panel's presentations will be followed by a Q&A session and networking over coffee, tea, and snacks.
This event provides a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students of English literature to learn more about possible careers related to their studies and is a chance to become acquainted with professionals in different fields.
